CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A man who allegedly robbed a Star CU branch Wednesday was arrested minutes later after a bystander followed him home – across the street from the branch.
A witness followed the suspect, identified as Jose Peña, 53, across the street to his apartment and told police where he was. Police say Peña put up a fight after they kicked in the door and they had to use a Taser on him.
Police recovered all of the stolen money.
