WEST BRANCH, Mich. – A 50-year-old man alleged to have robbed a branch of Northland Area FCU is hospitalized after being injured when the car he was driving after the robbery rolled over on Maple Ridge Road here.
The man, whose name has not been released, has a collapsed lung, according to police. He has not yet been charged but is expected to be charged during the first week of January. The injury to the suspect, who is out on parole after having been convicted of bank robbery in the past, is not serious, police said.
