MEDFORD, Ore. – With a big increase in auto repossessions, Rogue FCU is auctioning off its returned or repossessed vehicles on the Internet and elsewhere.
In the past, the $400 million credit union turned to local car dealers to sell repossessed vehicles, or put them up for auction in Eugene or Sacramento. But with local auto dealers' lots already crowded with used vehicles, Rogue Federal decided to follow what other credit unions around the country have done and auction vehicles on the Internet.
