MEDFORD, Ore. – Rogue FCU plans to expand its free foreclosure-prevention and assistance program statewide.

The program, called Building Hope, consists of three classes: Budgeting in Financial Crisis; Steps to Preventing Foreclosure; and Consumer Rights during Foreclosure. Consumer credit counseling is discussed during the last class.
Building Hope, developed with the Homebuilders Association of Jackson County, was rolled out in Jackson County this March and was expanded to Josephine and Klamath counties in May. More than 450 people have completed the program.
