ARCATA, Calif. – A man who robbed a branch of Northern Redwood FCU here now also is a suspect in another recent robbery of a branch of Coast Central Credit Union in Crescent City, Calif.
Police said the man in both robberies appears to be the same person, and in both robberies showed a black, semi-automatic handgun before demanding money. Police said the man’s success likely means he will strike again, having grown confident his methods will work.
