SAN DIEGO – San Diego County CU said same-day bill payments are now available through its online bill payment solution, Bill Payer Plus, one of the first financial institutions to offer the service.
Members can select the same-day delivery option as part of the normal payment scheduling process. San Diego County’s Bill Payer Plus and the same-day payment option are powered by CheckFree RXP from Fiserv, which processes billions of payments for millions of consumers each year.
Bills available for same-day payment include auto, mortgage, credit card, utility, phone and other common household bills, the credit union said.
“Same-day payments can help our members pay their bills on time and avoid late charges or penalties from their billers,” said Teresa Halleck, president of the $5 billion credit union.
