SAN DIEGO – San Diego County CU has installed Cox Communications’ Metro Ethernet to transmit transactional and operational data between its 27 locations.
The system has complex disaster recovery circuits in place that automatically reroute data during an unexpected outage or crisis. The Cox Business solution also includes PRI (primary rate interface) advanced voice circuits and dedicated Internet access for employees at the $4.8 billion credit union’s corporate headquarters and branch locations.
The credit union will work with Cox Media on developing local advertising products that will help it raise the visibility of its products in the communities it serves. Cox said its advertising sales organization provides local awareness for San Diego community programs through tools that include cable TV commercials and online advertisements.
