Sandia Laboratory FCU Expands Into Valencia County

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Sandia Laboratory FCU, the state’s biggest credit union, has opened its eighth branch and first in the town of Los Lunas.

The Los Lunas branch is 10,000 square feet, and members can treat themselves to a cup of coffee or a bottle of water while they wait at the new Valencia County location.

The $1.3 billion credit union was formed in 1948 by employees of Sandia National Laboratories, which now includes companies in California, New Mexico and Texas.
