Scott CU Pledges $100,000 To Hospital Building Effort

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – Scott CU has committed $100,000 over the next five years to support the new St. Joseph’s Hospital that is in the process of being built.

The hospital recently broke ground for the 91,000-square-foot facility that is to be completed in summer 2013.

The new hospital reportedly will offer in-patient services, including general medicine, cardiology, general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedic medicine/surgery, pediatrics, vascular medicine/surgery, hospice and physical rehabilitation. The facility also will offer out-patient services, including emergency services, walk-in immediate care, outpatient surgery, a women and children’s center, medical imaging and cardiac testing, lab testing, physical, cardiac, and pulmonary rehabilitation and sports medicine, men’s health services, a sleep study lab, geriatric intensive psychiatric day treatment, and day treatment for infusions, injections, and pain management.
