Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) announced the launch of Security Service Insurance (SSI), a subsidiary of SSFCU. The independent agency will be overseen by the San Antonio-based credit union, offering property and casualty insurance products for homes, renters, ATVs, automobiles, motorcycles and boats. The program is comprised of twelve licensed agents, "whose mission is to help individuals save money and gain security," according to a press release put out today by SSFCU.
The insurance service is offered to members of the $9 billion SSFCU, as well as the general public in Texas, Colorado and Utah. SSI offers multiple insurance carriers to their customers, including: Progressive, Hartford, Travelers, MetLife, Safeco and Kemper, with more to come in the future.
