ALBANY, N.Y. – SEFCU, a $2 billion capital city credit union, is moving its local operations to a new commercial building in downtown Schenectady, and will rename the $4.5 million building SEFCU Square.
The credit union plans to lease 20,000 square feet of space, which will include a branch on the ground floor of the new office building. Other divisions will occupy the building’s second, third and fourth floors.
SEFCU, formerly known as State Employees FCU, also will sponsor a year-long program of Proctors Art Night celebrations highlighting the work of area schools and nonprofits.
