PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Service CU donated 50 turkeys to the Portsmouth Salvation Army last Thursday, among the 625 Thanksgiving birds donated by the $1.2 billion credit union.
The birds are part of the credit union’s annual donation to Salvation Armies and food pantries across New Hampshire.
In total, it donated 625 turkeys to Salvation armies and food banks in communities near their branches, including Somersworth, Rochester, Keene and Salem. In addition, delivered turkeys to their 16 branches on U.S. military bases in Germany.
