FITCHBURG, Mass. – Six area credit unions are partnering to sponsor a CU 4 Reality Financial Education Fair.
The CU 4 Reality Program is described as an in-class curriculum used during the school year to teach students important skills that will equip them to handle money responsibly, set and adhere to budgets, explore careers, and make informed decisions on borrowing.
The Financial Education Fair is a culminating, daylong event that will give participants a chance to see how future career selection affects their financial well-being and their life choices.
Participants will create a spending plan based on a salary and juggle needs versus wants to make sure they are living within their means.
Participating credit unions are: Fitchburg FCU, GFA FCU, IC FCU, Leominster CU, Leominster Employees FCU and Workers' CU.
