MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Southern Security FCU is integrating 2,500 members of the now-shuttered United Postal Service Employees CU, the oldest credit union in Memphis, which was chartered in 1927.
The latest merger makes Southern Security the fifth-largest credit union in Memphis with approximately $120 million in assets.
The postal credit union added $23 million in total assets, including $9 million in new loans.
