MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – St. Mary's CU contributed $26,000 to the Metrowest Boys & Girls Club this week.
The donation supports the club's summer camp scholarships, after school programs, annual golf tournament and the annual Bids for Kids fundraising gala.
Jack Caulfield, president and CEO of the credit union, called the donation a "smart investment," adding, "We recognize the importance of such programs to our youth and to the overall quality of life in our communities."
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
