MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – St. Mary’s CU said it has opened a business services department aimed at small and mid-sized businesses, for the first time in its 100-year history.

The new department will offer business loans, business savings and checking accounts, electronic banking and merchant card processing services. In connection with the establishment of the new department, the credit union will expand its educational forums to include workshops for small and mid-size business owners.
The business services department will be headed by David McHugh, the credit union's vice president for commercial lending.
