SAN ANGELO, Texas – One of three men suspected of stealing a fiberglass sheep from behind 1st Community FCU in July was indicted on theft charges this week.

Thaddeus Geagley, 20, is one of three men charged with making off with the iconic "Freedom for Me and Ewe" sheep as part of a prank. Police originally arrested six people after the sheep was dragged from the credit union to an apartment where Geagley lived at the time.
After the theft Geagley made a public apology to the community, the credit union and Goodfellow Air Force Base, which owns the life-sized figure, valued at $2,850.
