STREATOR, Ill. – Streator Onized CU will be displaying “foodstructions,” displays constructed with canned foods at its offices, to help raise money for charities this holiday season.

One credit union team has constructed a giant Rubik’s cube from almost 400 cans. Another an American flag, which took about 200 cans. One has built a train. And a fourth constructed a castle with more than 950 cans.
Members will be able to vote for their favorite foodstruction with monetary donations or canned food products. All money collected will be donated to The Times' Red Stocking Fund and canned goods will go to the Streator Food Pantry Friday, Nov. 20, when a winning design will be selected.
