Stroud has a total 42 years in credit unions, 32 of them with Community Financial, which grew from $7.5 million to more than $60 million during her tenure there. She also served as chairman of the Missouri CU Association and as a member of the Missouri CU Commission.

"It has been an honor to have served as President/CEO of Community Financial for so many years," says Stroud. "I am blessed to have worked with many wonderful people in the credit union industry, especially our members, the member volunteers who have served on our board of directors, and all of Community Financial's employees."

Roney comes to the CU with 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as president/CEO of Highway Alliance CU, Jefferson City, Mo.

"I am looking forward to serving Community Financial's members and the Springfield community in this new role, building on CFCU's solid reputation and superior service for continued growth in our communities," says Roney.

Community Financial CU has $60 million in assets and 7,400 members.
