Summit CU Raises $18,000 To Fight Diabetes

MADISON, Wis. – Summit CU said it raised more than $18,000 to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as part of its eighth annual fundraising drive.

The campaign, which is part of Summit’s year-round corporate citizenship and charitable giving efforts, has raised nearly $100,000 for the diabetes fund since 2001.

From Sept. 1 to Oct. 2, employee volunteers from each of Summit’s 20 branches organized fundraising efforts. Employees raised $13,026 and the credit union donated $5,000.
