‘Sundown Bandits’ Sought In Florida Heists

MIAMI – The FBI is offering a $40,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of two men who robbed six south Florida institutions in the last 10 months, including two credit unions: City County CU branches in Pembroke Pines and in Miramar.

Two men whom police call the “Sundown Bandits” are believed to have committed robberies in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties since December.

The FBI said each robber usually has a gun when they enter the institution. The men steal money from the tellers' drawers and then clean out the vault, according to investigators.
