The game will be played Feb. 5 at Ford Field inDetroit between the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers.Washingtons credit unions won an early bet on their hometownfootball team making the Big Game for the first time and planned tosponsor an ad as far back as November, according to Jaime Chase,spokesman for the Washington CU League, which organized theinitiative. We started looking at this as long ago as lastsummer. When it got to November and it looked like the Seahawkswere going to be competing for the Super Bowl we decided togo forward, Chase told The Credit Union Journal on Saturday.This way we can go to the Super Bowl with our team The Super Bowl ad, part of Washington credit unions $500,000year-long ad campaign, will feature a local band, SeattlesGroovology, singing the praises of credit unions and sharedbranching in a rap song entitled TogetherBetter, the name of the adseries. The ads will also be run following the big game on localABC and CBS TV and radio affiliates at prime time and duringmorning news through mid-year.
