AUGUSTA, Maine-Maine credit unions have launched a new summer and fall campaign for participating credit unions focusing on "SURF Dude," a new mascot, to highlight the benefits of their surcharge-free ATM SURF campaign with message counter signs, posters, web banners and buttons.

Members may send or upload their photos of their favorite Maine vacation spots between July 8 and Oct. 21. The most creative snapshot will win $300 (the total dollar amount a member can save in ATM fees by using SURF over one year) on Oct. 21, International Credit Union Day.
