Suspect Charged With Robbing Shared Branch Twice

GREENFIELD, Wis. – A 63-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested last week and charged with robbing a CU Service Center here twice shortly after the second holdup on Dec. 29.

Police said John Macomber entered the credit union, pointed a handgun at the teller and said, “Be good, cash,” before making off with $5,000.

During questioning, Macomber admitted to robbing the credit union of approximately $6,000 on April 22, using the same handgun he used Dec. 29.
