Symitar Adds Eight Clients During 1st Quarter

Symitar Systems added eight credit unions to its client base during the first quarter of this year. The clients who signed up for the core solutions product include The Holston Methodist FCU, Knoxville, Tenn.; The St. Alphonsus Medical Credit Union, Boise, Idaho and the Benchmark FCU, West Chester, Penn. It also added the Butler Armco Employees CU from Butler, Penn., Freedom of Maryland CU from Bel Air, Md., Municipal CU from New York, and the St. Francis X FCU from Petosky, Mich. Also moving to Symitar is Philadelphia Federal Credit Union, which has selected Symitar's Episys platform to provide enterprise-wide automation. The $500-million credit union will install Episys in-house. "One of the primary reasons we selected Episys was the unique flexibility that will enable us to customize the system to support our established workflow, our evolving business and operational needs, and our aggressive growth goals that include the addition of several new branches and a robust web presence," said PFCU CEO Jim McAneney.
