TDECU Celebrates Milestone of 250,000 Members

TDECU in Lake Jackson, Texas, has marked a new milestone for its long-range growth plan.

The $2.9 billion-asset credit union said that it has reached 250,000 members. TDECU currently accommodates its members at 43 service locations.

"We take an active role in our local communities, and we treat the needs of each member as if they were our own," Stephanie Sherrodd, TDECU president and chief executive, said in a recent press release. "Because of our strong commitment to our members, we continue to earn the trust of our neighbors to provide their financial solutions."

Founded in 1955 as a non-profit financial cooperative, TDECU offers deposit, mortgage, auto and personal loan products, as well as retirement planning and wealth management, personal and business insurance products and realty services through its subsidiaries.
