Technicolor FCU has won the "Best Web Site" award for 2005 from NAFCU. NAFCU judging was conducted on the merit of the website in the categories of: objective, functionality, design, content, originality and effectiveness. The site was designed by Cuadpro Marketing, which now handles all of the $27-million CU's marketing.
"We have had a lot of positive feedback from our members. They love [the site)," said TFCU CEO Daphne Brock.
The site overhaul is part of a larger rebranding effort, also overseen by Cuadpro, that focuses on creating a look significant to its film industry FOM. The new brand includes the slogan, "Reel Action. Real Service. For Reel People." In addition, users of the site find a "paintbrush" as the cursor icon.
Prior to the web site re-launch, the credit union said its site received an average of 20 hits a day and a few loan applications. Since the October 15, 2004 re-launch, the site is averaging 500 daily visits and online loan applications are up more than 60%.
