S1 Rebrands 3 Divisions
ATLANTA-S1 Corp., a provider of customer/member interaction software solutions, said its three S1 divisions - Postilion, S1 Enterprise, and Full Service Banking (FSB) Solutions-are all establishing unique, individualized branding.
"By introducing three different brands, S1 is continuing to execute against a business plan of establishing independent divisions," the company said. "S1's goal is to empower these divisions to better meet the needs of the markets and customers they serve."
As part of the initiative, all three have launched independent websites at, respectively, www.postilion.com, www.s1enterprise.com, and www.fsb-solutions.com.
Visa Launches Pay-By-Cell Phone
LAS VEGAS-Visa USA, the world's largest payments network, is introducing a mobile platform that will allow consumers to tap into their bank and credit union accounts over their cell phones.
The platform is designed to integrate the many competing mobile payments systems and services into a single user-friendly environment.
The single platform will be used for mobile contactless payments, remote payments, person-to-person payments, and mobile coupons, as well as account management services.
Hyland Teams With Amplify FCU
CLEVELAND-Hyland Software Inc. announced that AMPLIFY FCU, with almost $400 million in assets and 36,000 members, is deploying OnBase in all departments throughout its four Austin, Texas branches.
The implementation of OnBase is part of a larger transformation within the credit union, a process that included renaming the credit union from IBM Texas Employees Credit Union to AMPLIFY Federal Credit Union.
OnBase is an ECM software suite with applications that include document imaging, workflow, electronic document management, COLD/ERM and records management.

HARRISBURG, Penn.-eCU Technologies renewed contracts with three credit unions to use its consulting and programming services: Philadelphia FCU, Baxter FCU, and Community FCU. Harland Signs Three CUs
ATLANTA-Three credit unions are using UltraData Enterprise in an outsourced environment. I.L.W.U. Credit Union in Wilmington, California chose the dedicated hosting option utilizing credit union-owned hardware located in Harland Financial Solutions' state-of-the-art Enterprise Services Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Pacific Resource Credit Union of Los Angeles, California, and Tacoma Longshoremen Credit Union of Tacoma, Washington, also signed up for service bureau delivery of the UltraData Enterprise solution.

Harrisburg, Penn.-eCU Technologies renamed its online deposit solution, UPost, now calling it KeyPost to match the rest of its Keystone product suite. As a result of this re-branding effort, Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union's UPost@Home online deposit product will no longer be confused with eCU Technologies' UPost.
Keypost is a solution that is cross-platform, meaning that it can run on almost any credit union core processing system and can even be marketed toward banks in the near future.

DataSafe ViewPoint Is Launched
VALLEY FORGE, Penn.-USERS has launched the DataSafe ViewPoint solution to provide credit unions with easy, secure access to information tailored to end users' specific needs, the company said.
DataSafe ViewPoint uses the SQL-compliant Caché database that powers USERS' core processing system to provide non-technical staff members with easy access to information from their desktops. CUs can use the software to tailor data views and reports to different employee groups based on their job functions, with views tailored at the group or individual employee level, or tailor information to the needs of different member groups.

Mobile Banking Offered
CHANTILLY, Va.-Online Resources Corp. announced the launch of its mobile banking and bill payment service, a hosted application that enables financial institutions to provide their consumers with a full range of online services via mobile phones and other wireless devices.
Teaming with tech vendor Access Softek, Inc., the mobile banking and payment service is an OFX-based software application that works with all major U.S. wireless networks with access to approximately 70% of today's mobile phone devices.

PSCU Selects iSpectrum
HAMILTON, Ore.-Prime Savings Credit Union here has signed a letter of intent to deploy iSpectrum, the Canadian banking system from Corvallis, Ore.-based Summit Information Systems, a unit of Fiserv Inc.
The selection of iSpectrum concluded a detailed search for a new technology partner and banking system that the C$65 million, 7,000-member credit union conducted as part of an initiative for aggressive growth and retail services delivery transformation.
iSpectrum will enable Prime Savings to rapidly deliver products and services, improve productivity and increase its competitive advantage.
