Online Banking Soars By 38%

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla -PSCU Financial Services saw a 38% jump in the number of subscribers using its online bill payment platform, the CUSO said. Its PayLynx solution ended 2008 with 783,000 subscribers. The CUSO signed deals with 22 CUs over the course of the year, eight of which are offering online bill pay capabilities to their membership for the first time. Overall, more than 470 financial institutions are deploying PayLynx for their online bill payment services.

Fiserv Wins Top Nod From Celent

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv has been named the top retail Internet banking vendor by Celent, a financial services IT and strategy research firm the information technology services provider announced. It was the third year in a row Fiserv's CheckFree line of business earned that distinction. "CheckFree continues to lead the industry in performance, feature/functionality, and depth and breadth of services," said a Celent analyst.

Digital Insight Launches New Tool

ILT Teams Up With Vintek

SALT LAKE CITY-Indirect Lending Techonologies has completed integration of its Web-based indirect lending system with collateral management services firm VINtek the company said. Dealer Indirect Lending and Leasing System automates and manages the entire indirect lending process for lenders from application to funding and data entry. With the new integration, FIs will no longer have to manually enter data into the VINtek system, which records and stores lien data.

PM Systems Signs Illiana

CHAPIN, S.C.-Illiana Federal Credit Union will be implementing a number of PM Systems Corporation's online and mobile banking solutions to grow business this year, the credit union said. The $159-million institution plans to use PMSC's Internet banking, bill pay, mobile banking, online lending, transfers, and online membership enrollment services as part of its effort to target the Generation Y market. The new technologies went live in June.
