Fiserv Enhances Virtual Branch

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv said it has made enhancements to its Virtual Branch online banking suite, which is designed specifically for CUs, including an enhanced user interface and integrated capabilities that maximize the online delivery channel through account origination. More than 1,000 CUs have deployed the solution.

In other news, Fiserv has released personal financial management tools for consumers at institutions using Corrillian Online. The service includes a financial management page with customizable budgeting tools and spending overviews.

Open Solutions Upgrades DNA

GLASTONBURY, Conn.-Open Solutions has released the newest version of its enterprise-wide core relational platform, DNA 3.0. EAST LANSING, Mich.-Michigan State University FCU has deployed Pro software and U.are.U Fingerprint Readers from Redwood City, Calif.-based DigitalPersona. "The DigitalPersona solution eliminates the need for employees to remember and manually type separate strong passwords to more than 60 applications," the company said, adding that fingerprint biometrics are used to verify the user's identity, and then securely and automatically enters the appropriate password needed for each application.
