COLUMBUS, Ohio Telhio CU has introduced an Owner Rewards Program it says correlates account values with benefits.
Member accounts are tiered into four levels: $500 and less, $500 to $10,000, $10,000 to $30,000 and $30,000 and up. Those falling below the $500 threshold will be hit with a $5 per month membership fee, encouraging members to use more Telhio services.
Just 5% of the credit union’s members consider Telhio their primary financial institution, it said.
