SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – A teller at Goldenwest CU was arrested yesterday in connection with last week’s armed robbery at the credit union, while his friend and alleged accomplice remains on the loose.

On July 3, a man walked into the credit union, drew a gun from his waistband, forced two tellers into the vault, then filled a black bag with money. The robber then fled in a car belonging to one of the tellers, which police found abandoned four blocks away.
Police say the teller, a friend of the suspect, was in on the robbery. Their suspicions were developed after collecting jailhouse testimony from another man who allegedly backed out of the robbery.
