PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The head teller at a downtown branch of Greylock FCU was arrested yesterday and charged with stealing $60,000 and lying to police as part of a cover-up.
Prosecutors say Felisa Kazimierczak, 43, stole the money where she worked on March 1.
She also is accused of preventing an employee from leaving the credit union and lying to police.
Kazimierczak told police she took the money because she needed to pay off threats made to her teenage daughter. She stated she dropped off the money at a location where a note told her to do so, police said.
