DAYTON, Ohio - (12/01/05) -- NCR announced Wednesday its Teradataunit has acquired DecisionPoint Software, a provider of integrateddata software for financial management. DecisionPoint's systemscapture and move continuously changing data from the financialsource systems into a data warehouse, automatically configuring theanalytic environment as needed. Terms of the deal were notdisclosed. Teradata and DecisionPoint have been working for twoyears on a system that integrates data from financial andnon-financial sources in near real-time and gives users fasteraccess to detailed information for more active analysis.
