PHARR, Texas—Long-time credit union executive Suzy Brinkman-Doughty died Monday, according to the Cornerstone CU League. Brinkman-Doughty was the CEO of NAFT FCU for 28 years. She got her start in credit unions in 1979 as a data processing manager for Corpus Christi Area Teachers CU (now Teachers CU). She served on the board of the league when it was still the Texas CU League and also served on the CUNA board. She was preceded in death by her husband, AC Doughty, who was also a credit union CEO.
