FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – While many residents here are still working to recover from the 10 tornadoes that struck the Dallas area earlier this week, it is believed most credit unions escaped any damage.
Linda Webb-Manon, VP-communications with the Texas Credit Union League, said the only significant damage that had been reported was windows blown out at a one credit union branch in Lancaster, Texas. In addition, some credit union employees in Irving and Dallas reported damage to their homes and vehicles.
