VICTORIA, Texas – Texas Dow Employees CU broke ground Tuesday on a 4,900-foot branch full-service branch.

The credit union, which operates locations at the Victoria Mall and Mockingbird Lane and has a new site for mortgage, insurance and direct lending services going in downtown, says it is adding about 300 members a month from the surrounding area.
The new branch, which will be the $1.4 billion credit union’s 20th, is projected to cost $2 million.
Construction is scheduled to begin next week and be completed in the first quarter of 2010.
