Texas Trust CU Adds Cachet Financial’s Remote Deposit Capture

MANSFIELD, Texas Texas Trust CU yesterday said it has rolled out Cachet Financial Solutions’ remote deposit capture system within its mobile banking application making deposits easier and more convenient for its members.

By integrating Cachet’s Select Mobile Deposit technology into the Texas Trust mobile application (platform developed by Access Softek), the credit union said its members can deposit checks with just a few clicks from most Android or Apple smart phones and tablets. Members simply endorse the check, snap photos of the front and back, and submit for processing.

Texas Trust is able to manage the mobile deposit program using Cachet’s patent-pending CheckReview solution, which the company said allows operators to view and approve high quality check images in real time. Administrators can set volume and velocity limits, including the number of checks and maximum amount that can be deposited per day.

Texas Trust has implemented an instant-good funds model, with the first $2,500 deposited per day available immediately upon deposit acceptance.
