MANSFIELD, Texas — Texas Trust CU appointed Navy Vet Ron Dinwiddie chief information officer.
With a 40-year background in IT, Dinwiddie will be responsible for all IT operations at the $796 million credit union, as well as its Trust Data Systems subsidiary.
Dinwiddie comes to Texas Trust after a stint at Houston FCU, where he served as SVP-IT. Prior to that, he held a number of executive positions at a variety of banks and credit unions. He got his start in IT during his 22 years of service with the U.S. Navy, where he was a data processing master chief and command master chief.
Texas Trust President Jim Minge said the credit union brought Dinwiddie on after its recent merger with Security One FCU, which has greatly increased the CU's IT needs.
