Texoma Community Credit Union, a $120 million institution based in Wichita Falls, Texas, has named John Buckley as its new president and CEO, effective Jan. 2, 2017.
Buckley, who has more than 30 years of management experience in the credit union industry, succeeds Wayne Mansur, who is retiring from Texoma Community CU after 22 years.
Buckley was formerly the chief operations officer at Texoma Community CU. Prior to that, he served as the president and CEO at Postel Family Credit Union, now a $67 million institution also based in Wichita Falls.
Buckley holds a BBA in finance with a minor in accounting from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. He also attended the Southwest CUNA Management School and is an Honor Graduate from the University of North Texas–Denton.
Texoma Community CU retained the services of Credit Union Resources to conduct a national search for its new chief.
