COSTA MESA, Calif.-Credit unions can better get their arms around compliance challenges by using systems that accommodate new rules and regs at the system level via a web-based model, according to Branwyn Rhodes.
Rhodes, director of communications for MeridianLink, not surprisingly noted the company's own solutions, which include web-based credit reporting, loan and account origination technologies, do just that. Given the frequency and volume of new rules, Rhodes noted credit unions really have no choice but to use such web-based solutions. Necessary forms and documents can be incorporated into the process, as well.
"The latest release of MeridianLink's multi-channel account opening and loan origination platform facilitates compliance with many of the new industry regulations and rules," he said. "We are able to anticipate changes quickly and proactively address any challenges."
