Altier Gives Away Gas For A Year
TEMPE, Ariz.–Credit unions across the country are offering members and employees alike some relief at the gas pump. Altier CU is giving its existing and new members a chance to win “Gas for a Year.” The promotion is running through Sept. 15 and will culminate in a drawing awarding one member $3,000 and two second chance winners $300 and $200. Everyone who opens an Altier CU checking account during the two-month period will qualify to enter in the drawing. The grand prize is based on 15,000 annual mileage, 21 mpg and $4 per gallon cost of gasoline.
PFCU Ties Promo To Free Gas
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla.–Recognizing the high cost of gas, Power Financial CU has launched a new online account opening service and is promoting it with a gas card giveaway. “With the rising cost of gas, we recognize that many members are looking for ways to conserve and adding more online service features eliminates back and forth trips to the branch,” said CEO Allan Prindle.
The CU said it will be giving away thousands of dollars in free gas cards as part of the official launch promotion of the online account opening services. The CU is also partnering with Mobil 1 Lube Express so members can save money on oil changes, nitrogen for their tires and other services–all things that can help keep a car running more efficiently. From Aug. 11 to 15, consumers who open a new Cash Back Checking account using the online service will be eligible to receive a $25 gas card at the kick-off event on Aug. 23 at the Mobil 1 Lube Express. Existing members may also stop by the event to receive a free $10 gas card, while supplies last.
