WACO, Texas – Two men and a woman accused in a string of holdups stretching from Missouri to Texas, including last year’s heist at Texell CU in Temple, last week pleaded guilty to armed robbery charges and will be sentenced in May.
The three confessed to a total of five holdups, including the Texell heist on July 11, 2011. They got away with only $33,000 from the five heists.
On Sept. 5 of last year they were arrested in Puerto Vallarta. The next day they were deported to the United States.
Their string of bank heists started in May of last year in Hamilton, Mo. They then robbed banks in Brookfield, Harrison County and Columbia, Mo., before coming to central Texas and then fleeing to Mexico.
The three are: Jeffrey Heckman, 26, Jacob Norris, 24, and Alexia Baker, 23.
All three will remain in custody in Waco until their sentencing May 2.
