Tiny Georgia CU Hunts Missing $100,000

MACON, Ga. – Officials at Brosnan Yard FCU have notified police that $100,000 may be missing.

An employee who oversees account activity at the $4 million credit union told police that the $100,000 was stolen, and that she noticed suspicious activity.

A police report says audits determined discrepancies in the system and that the credit union, based in the offices of Norfolk Southern Railroad, has requested an investigation by Macon police.

The police report says there are no suspects yet.
