EFT Bill of Rights
The following articles are presented as inalienable rights to credit unions participating in the Credit Union 24 EFT Network.
Article One
Credit unions shall have the right to straightforward EFT pricing, with any and all costs clearly presented and defined.
Article Two
Credit unions shall have the right to both ATM and POS access through a single network.
Article Three
Credit unions shall have the right to purchase one share of ownership in the cooperative EFT network at a low cost, allowing equal voice and influence to each shareholder, and receipt of Patronage Dividends declared by the Board.
Article Four
Credit unions shall have the right to daily
interchange revenue settlements from cardholder transactions, as well as to monthly Platinum POS Rewards based upon the credit union's total network volume.
Article Five
Credit unions shall have the right to comprehensive activity-monitoring tools and reports, as well as to the services of a dedicated account manager.
Article Six
Credit unions shall have the right to join or decline participation in surcharge-free alliances as they choose.
Article Seven
Credit unions shall have the right to choose their own EFT processor or processors, without penalty.
Article Eight
Credit unions shall have the right to contract with additional EFT networks when necessary to provide maximum cardholder convenience and accessibility.
Article Nine
Credit unions shall have the right to know that their EFT network is working in the best interests of credit unions.
Article Ten
Credit unions shall have the right to expect the EFT network, through innovation and growth, to continually increase cardholder value and points of access.
