MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – TopLine FCU is opening its own insurance agency that will offer home and auto insurance.
TopLine Insurance Agency also will offer business insurance and policies for recreational and collectable vehicles.
The credit union will compete with independent insurance agencies as a broker for insurance policies from up to 20 insurers, including Progressive, Safeco, Travelers Cos. Inc., The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. and Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance Co.
Kevin Kuntz, the credit union’s senior vice president of sales and service, will oversee the new division.
Each of the credit union’s five branches will have an insurance agent supported by the branch manager, all of whom are trained and licensed in insurance.
