Two CU Robberies In Georgia May Be Connected

STATESBORO, Ga. – A teller at Geovista CU arrested last week after police learned he was involved in Tuesday’s armed holdup at the credit union, one of two local credit unions robberies last week that police believe are connected.

On Wednesday, a man walked into the CORE CU branch, pointed a gun at a teller and left with a money bag.

Another suspect was arrested Thursday and a women police believe drove the getaway car is being sought.
