LENEXA, Kan.-NCUA has closed on the sale of U.S. Central's former headquarters, months after winding down the operations of the one-time $52-billion central bank for CUs. The 129,321-square-foot building at 9701 Renner Blvd. in this Kansas City suburb was sold to Kiewit Power Constructors, which operates construction, mining and engineering businesses in three countries.
The agency confirmed the March 25 transaction, but declined to disclose any of the details, including the sale price. Proceeds from the sale are expected to go toward costs related to the corporate failures.
