USERS Names Schooler President

Fiserv, Inc. announced that John Schooler, formerly Chief Technology Officer of USERS, Inc., has been named President of USERS. Schooler succeeds Joe Barry, who in October took on the role of President of the Fiserv Credit Union Eastern Region, responsible for the USERS, Aftech and Galaxy business units of Fiserv.

"John Schooler has been instrumental in USERS' success, helping to formulate a product strategy and technology architecture that provides credit unions with the choice and ease of integration they need," said Tom Neill, President of the Fiserv Credit Union and Industry Products Group. "His long history of experience in the industry affords him a very strong understanding of credit unions' business and technology needs."

In his new role, Barry now provides direction, mentoring and support for the USERS, Aftech and Galaxy business units, focusing on common goals such as client satisfaction and company growth. A similar organizational structure is already in place in the Western Region, where Roger Kuhns serves as president of the Fiserv Credit Union Western Region, responsible for the CUSA Technologies, Summit and XP Systems business units in the Fiserv credit union group.
