ST. LOUIS — Vantage Credit Union has completed its conversion to the Episys core operating system from Symitar.
The $801 million-asset CU said in a press release Wednesday that it completed the conversion in May and Symitar's platform enables the company to integrate with hundreds of vendor applications and simplify the data processing system.
Vantage CU said the system provides for a new account opening and loan system that streamlines processing times and efficiencies, and a new loan mobile-responsive application enables members to calculate their estimated monthly payment based on loan type, loan amount, term and credit score.
The system also provides a new automated phone access systems that integrate two former systems into one for greater efficiencies, and a new customer relationship management system for improved communications and workflow for employees and members.
"This product is well designed to improve our overall operations," Debbie Meyer, Vantage CU's project manager, said in the release. "If we can cut costs and reduce back-office workloads, then we can spend more time focusing on our members and their needs."
